It’s not all about the Melbourne Cup this week!
Everybody knows that a major horse event takes place in Victoria in the first week of November, but starting tomorrow and going through until Sunday, another fantastic event will be taking place – the Pryde’s Easifeed Australian Jumping Championships!
This event showcases Australia’s jumping elite from around the nation, as they stride towards the hotly contested title of Australian Senior Champion 2018. Come and support Australia’s top jump riders as they compete for this prestigious title at Boneo Park (312 Boneo Road, Boneo VIC 3939), one of Australia’s premium equestrian facilities, located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Boneo Park welcomes spectators from all walks of life to get behind and witness the amazing skills of these horse and rider combinations. A great event for families, friends and equestrian enthusiasts. Admission each day is free for all spectators and parking is plentiful.
But it’s not all about the jumping:
– Enjoy live music on the main grass arena during the event.
– Visit the extensive trade village to fill all your shopping needs.
– Visit the food village for a selection of food trade stalls that will delight your senses.
– The Boneo Bar will be located ringside of the main grass arena ready for you to enjoy.
When Australian Jumping visited Boneo Park a couple of days ago, the main arena looked peaceful and serene. However, that is certain to change when the crème of the Australian Jumping community descend on Boneo Park from tomorrow. With over 750 horses competing, these championships are the highlight of the Australian jumping calender and with over $100,000 prizemoney up for grabs is sure to be an exciting competition!
Australian Jumping would like to wish all competitors the very best of luck in the Pryde’s Easifeed Australian Jumping Championships (as well as any the best of luck to anyone having a bet in the cup today).
