With just three rounds left in the Jumping NSW Amateur of the Year competition, we thought it was time to review the results to date and have a look at how the current point-score table is tracking. The final three events of the championship are as follows:

• Sydney Jump Club – 30 November and 1 December
• Sydney Summer Classic – 8 December

After 17 rounds, the clear leaders are, Alana Stallard and CA Gordon, who lead the championship by eight points. They are being pursued by Sarah Dreverman and Emmaville Junior, who are on the charge, having collected a total of 18 points in the last three events. Just a further point behind in third place are the hot combination of Jennifer Smith and Country Platinum, who had not picked up a point until three rounds ago, however, a second and then consecutive wins in the two most recent rounds has rocketed them up the leader board to now lie within a win of the lead. The consistent Maddison Reisner and Wine Hunter are in fourth place exactly one win off the lead.

While these top four would seem well placed to fight out the championship, with a maximum of 33 points on offer for winning the last three rounds, any number of combinations will still be vying for the title as the final three rounds unfold.
