Two Hearts: Jamie Kermond and Yandoo Oaks Constellation
Last year was a massive one for Jamie Kermond and his handsome gelding Yandoo Oaks Constellation – known to us all as Napa. Together they travelled to Hong Kong to compete in the Longines Masters where they finished 4th in the Grand Prix and then onto Paris for the FEI World Cup Final where they made it through to the final to finish in an impressive 27th spot. After a few more shows in Europe it was onto Tryon for the World Equestrian Games and we watched in excitement as they played a big part in qualifying the team for the Tokyo Olympics.

This combination have been together for many years, from when Napa was a four year old and came to Yandoo from Oaks Sport Horses. Since then, they have developed a long-term partnership and an obvious bond to be admired. By Conquistador out of Galaxie Pierville, this stunning big horse has gone a long way with Kermond and we were delighted to catch up with them at Yandoo Park last week and have a chat about their partnership, their experiences in Hong Kong, Europe and Tryon and find out about their plans for the future, with eyes firmly set on Tokyo.
We hope you enjoy this interview.
