The first leg of the Australian Jumping Teams League (AJTL) held at Willinga Park a couple of weeks ago was an outstanding event and a fantastic way to launch this new competition. The competitors have now had a taste of competing for the huge amount of prize money on offer and the battle will no doubt be fierce in the second leg – to be held tomorrow night under lights in the indoor arena at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC).

The draw has been completed and the start order of the teams and their three chosen riders is as follows:

Team Takapoto Estate Showjumping: Will Dight (U25), Paul Brent and Clint Beresford
Team Martin Collins Australia: Rhys Stones, Jamie Priestley (U25) and Merrick Ubank
Team Chatham Park: Kate Hinschen (U25), Amber Fuller, and Tom McDermott
Team Yandoo: Jamie Winning-Kermond, Briar Burnett-Grant (U25) and Jamie Kermond
Team Oaks Sport Horses: Aaron Hadlow, Izabella Stone (U25) and Stephen Dingwall
Team Horsepower: Erin Buswell (U25), James Mooney and Clem Smith
Team Willinga Park: David Cameron, Brooke Langbecker (U25) and Katie Laurie
Team Equine International Airfreight: Gabrielle Kuna, Elliott Reeves (U25) and Chris Chugg
Team Emcee Apparel: Amanda Madigan, Jess Tripp (U25) and Jennifer Wood
Team Kiernan Haulage: Brooke Campbell, Jasmine Dennison (U25) and Russell Johnstone.

The teams will be battling it out for a total of $100,000 in prize money as well as points towards the overall season total.
