The release of the FEI Rider rankings for the end of July 2026 has revealed no changes at the top of the Australians on the list. Edwina Tops-Alexander remains our top ranked rider, sitting at 127th place after improving 22 places over the month. Hilary Scott who had achieved our top-ranking place in March is our second highest ranked rider having broken into the top 200 to sit at 191st place, up 18 ranking places since June.

Thaisa Erwin, who is our nominated reserve for the upcoming FEI World Championships is still our third highest ranked rider having improved four places to 288th. Also on our World Championships team, Rowan Willis remains in fourth place ranked 357th in the world.

Large ranking rises were recorded in July by both Jack Barker who is up 382 places to 2,606th spot and Mia Smith who is up 315 places to currently sit in 1,428th spot in the rankings. There were only minor changes to rankings for our Australian based riders as there were no FEI Jumping competitions held in Australia during the month of July.

With regard to the Under 25 riders rankings, US based Maleah Lang-McMahon has had a stellar month in July. Not only has she risen 270 places to sit at 416th place (and thereby becoming Australia’s fifth highest ranked rider), her Under 25 ranking has rocketed 61 places to now be ranked at just 53rd spot. Also based in the US, Zoe Brown remains our second highest Under 25 rider at 134th place. Christella Tang, who is based in Asia is still our third highest ranked Under 25 rider in 565th spot.
