The 7 Year Old Young Jumping Horse Championship at the 2026 PSI Dressage and Jumping with the Stars brought together a strong field of 23 combinations, each now stepping into a stage where performance begins to closely reflect open competition. At this level, consistency, rideability and the ability to deliver across multiple rounds become critical in shaping the final standings.

The opening round saw Allira Bond set the early benchmark with Yalambi’s Ohranj (Yalambi’s Confidant x Colman), producing a confident and balanced performance to take the lead on 82.93. The gelding showed strong scope and composure, immediately establishing himself as a leading contender.
Joel Lamb followed in second with No Mercy (Echo van’t Spieveld x Quindam de Revel) on 81.63, delivering a polished round, while Jennifer Wood and Si Van Heiste (Cabrio VD Heffinck x Orlando) secured third on 80.37 with a consistent and well-ridden performance.

Ally Lamb and Verdory DP (Verdi x I’m Special De Muze) finished fourth on 80.03, while Sarah McMillan and Dubrovnik (Glenara Sir Bollinger x Belcam Agassi) rounded out the top five on 79.37.

Hugh Buchanan and Clarabelle (Clarimo x Stakato) stepped into fourth on 82.50 with a smooth and balanced round, while Gemma Creighton and GSS Catjang (Copycat Z x Kashmir van Schuttershof) rounded out the top five on 81.97.
Importantly, Allira Bond and Yalambi’s Ohranj, who had led after Round One, slipped back after penalties, highlighting how influential the second round proved in tightening the competition ahead of the final phase.

Jennifer Wood and Si Van Heiste rounded out the top five with 240.53, showing steady performances across the competition.
