All set for an exciting weekend at NSW State Championships
As many of the championships have completed their second round today, we look at some of the key results and the point scores leading into Finals over the weekend. We look forward to a super couple of days of competition ahead.

NSW Amateur Title Round Two
This morning saw the second round of the Oaks Sport Horses NSW Amateur Championship on the Willinga Park Arena. With the rain not being able to decide whether to stay or go, there were some challenging conditions for the 46 combinations. In the end it was Damian Churchill and Franklins Peace who took out the class in a very fast time of 36.36 seconds, ahead of Melanie Heygate and Pacific Odyssey (39.25), with third place going to Alisa Williams and Anigrey in 40.37 seconds.

NSW Breeders Plate Championship Round Two
A massive field of 79 combinations competed today in the second qualifying round of the Breeders’ Plate Championship in the Yandoo Park Equestrian Services Arena. It was an exciting and very competitive class that ended up with Gemma Creighton and Ricochet and Angela Dobbin and Miranda MVNZ amazingly both stopping the clock in 70.25 seconds to take out joint first place, ahead of third placed Katie Laurie and Django II.
