Ally Lamb crowned Senior Champion at Petstock Victorian State Championships
Cool blustery conditions greeted riders on the final day of the Petstock Victorian State Jumping Championships, held over the weekend at the beautiful Boneo Park complex.
The Champions in a range of classes were decided and Australian Jumping would like to congratulate all riders on their success.
ISJ VICTORIAN CHILDREN’S UNDER 14 CHAMPIONSHIP
The Children’s Final was a stand alone competition, with the winner on Sunday being declared the State Champion.
The official Children’s Under 14 Championship placings are as follows.

DESERT SANDS AMATEUR FINAL
The winner of the Amateur Series was Tammy Goff on Southern Alabama who went clear and won both the Saturday and Sunday classes.

ISJ VICTORIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
The Junior competition was tightly contested, with consistent performances by all the top combinations, but in the end it was Sally Simmonds and Oaks Chifley who clinched it by winning the first round on Friday, followed by double clears on Saturday and Sunday. Tilley Fair on Sommerville Park Pollyanna and Tyler Marwood on Wild Oats were also very consistent over the weekend.

ISJ VICTORIAN YOUNG RIDER CHAMPIONSHIP
The top five performed consistently over the entire championship. However, in the end it was Brooke Langbecker who took out the honours in the Victorian Young Rider Championship in emphatic style. Her two rides, Beijing LS La Silla and Flowerdale Diamond were the only clear rounds in the Final and by withdrawing both combinations from the jump-off, they were awarded equal first place.

Brook Dobbin on Gina MVNZ took out the Stars of the Future Final followed by Wesley Joyce and Oaks Volta with Paul Brent and Kabalesse Kavita rounding out the top three.

MPC EXCAVATIONS VICTORIAN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
The winner of the Senior title was Ally Lamb and Eagle Rock. This combination were undoubtedly the most consistent and didn’t incur a single penalty over the entire championship. Young Rider Champion, Brooke Langbecker was second on Quintago 1, while Brooke Dobbin and Equador MVNZ filled the third placing.
