Aussies are ready for the Individual Jumping in Tokyo

The day has finally arrived, with the Individual Jumping competition starting in Tokyo tonight 8pm AEST.
We have two wonderful combinations representing us, Edwina Tops-Alexander with Identity Vitseroel (50th on the Order of Go) and Katie Laurie with Casebrooke Lomond (60th on the Order of Go).

By all accounts from the training session on Monday night, both horses are in good shape and jumping well.

The jumping individual event comprises two competitions: individual qualifier and individual final. The top 30 athletes (including all athletes tied on penalties and time for 30th place) from the individual qualifier progress to the individual final (tomorrow night).
No scores are carried forward from the qualifying competitions in either event. If there is a tie on penalties for a gold medal, a jump-off will take place. If there is a tie on penalties for a silver or bronze medal, the times of the athletes will be used to break the tie. A jump-off will only take place if there is a tie on penalties and time.
