Australian Teams Named for First Leg of 2025 Trans-Tasman Test Series
The Trans-Tasman Test Series will return in 2025 as an expanded three-leg Jumping contest between Australia and New Zealand. Building on the success of last year’s events at Waratah Showjumping and Jumping@Willinga, the format now includes three stops across New South Wales, each hosting both Senior and Young Rider team competitions.
The series will open at the Waratah CSI1-W in Sydney from 21–24 August*, before moving to Tamworth’s NNWSJC CSI1*-W at the end of August, and concluding at the 4CYTE Jumping@Willinga CSI1*-W in September. Each team consists of four riders, a reserve, and a Chef d’Equipe, with Seniors competing at 1.40–1.50 m and Young Riders taking part in dedicated classes.
Equestrian Australia has now confirmed the combinations representing Australia in the opening leg at Waratah, with two Australian teams entered in each category.
