Great start for Madeline Sinderberry and Team Australasia at Youth Olympic Games
What a wonderful first day for the team jumping competition at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. There are three teams sitting in equal first at the end of day one, being Europe, North America and Team Australasia. There are five riders per team, however it is the best three scores that count. There are three leading teams on zero penalties and Team Australasia (Omar Almarzooqi UAE, Madi Sinderberry AUS, Mohammed Alqashouti QAT, Briar Burnett-Grant NZL and Arshia Najafinia IRI) is one of those. In a lovely round to start their campaign, Sinderberry and Zambo jumped clear.

Chef d’Equipe for Team Australasia, David Cameron, was delighted with such an excellent start by the team “Madi got the team off to a great start with a very solid clear round and Briar backed it up with our 2nd clear. There were a number of clear rounds and we are expecting it to be a little bigger tomorrow. I think we are every chance of jumping another three clean rounds tomorrow”
