The 6 Year Old Young Jumping Horse Championship at the 2026 PSI Dressage and Jumping with the Stars drew a competitive field of 20 combinations, each stepping into a stage where consistency become increasingly important.

The opening round saw Stuart Brennan set the early benchmark with RBH Carnac (Charlemagne Ego Z x Perigueux), producing a confident and balanced performance to take the lead on 85.63. The gelding combined scope and rideability to clearly establish himself at the top of the field.

Anneliese Wansey followed in second with Glenara Baccarat (Casall x Conquistador) on 81.00, delivering a composed and consistent round, while Megan Joyce and Vischacco Louis (Chatender x Copabella Visage) secured third on 78.97, maintaining strong quality despite a single penalty.

Ally Lamb and Onory DP (I’m Special de Muze x Cardento) finished fourth on 76.53, while Stephanie Mitchell and Tulara Hickensky (Hickstead White x Cornet Obolensky) rounded out the top five on 73.87.

Across the class, small penalties and inconsistencies began to shape the order, but the leading group established a clear margin heading into the second round.

Jennifer Wood and Dakota Cera Z (Diaron x Quidam De Revel) finished fourth on 84.10, while Anneliese Wansey and Glenara Baccarat (Casall x Conquistador) rounded out the top five with 83.30 despite penalties impacting their final score.
