The world of Jumping in Australia comprises a full range of shows, from the multi-day, multi-arena extravaganzas, to much smaller affairs held at Agricultural shows. Last weekend the Mount Gravatt Show, located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, conducted a range of classes in conjunction with their 106th Annual Show and although the fields were small, the enjoyment was high.

Sarah Weiss and Twins Delux were the stars of the day. Being the only entrants in the 1.20m class and the Grand Prix, the only thing standing between them and victory was not being able to complete their rounds, however, there were no problems completing both courses.

Other dual winners on the day were Bridget Lyle and Balovbabe Z taking out the Junior 0.60m and 0.70m classes and Kaya Zielinski and Lady of Diamonds, who won the Junior 0.80m and Open 0.90m classes. Jasmine Carmichael and Blindfolded Talent took home blue ribbons for both the Open 0.70m and 1.00m classes.

It was a great day of jumping action where the enthusiasm of all involved more than made up for the small fields.
