Sienna Sails to Amateur Championship Victory at JNSW Summer Show
Above: Sienna Weir and Carisma
The last class on the main arena at the Jumping NSW Summer Show was the Redleaf sponsored Amateur Championship. There were 23 combinations entered and the eight of them that scored clear rounds were invited back for a second round.
Sienna Weir and Carisma were last of the eight to go and with only one clear round before them, they knew they had to be fast and clear to win. They did everything asked of them to finish clear in 46.92 seconds and take the win. Their performance relegated Sarah Cork and Yalambi’s Invictus into second place with a time of 49.06 seconds. With just a single rail in the jump-off, but a fast time of 46.95 seconds, Eva Rasmussen and Tulara Windstorm claimed third place.

This capped-off a great show for Weir and Carisma, who came third on the Friday in the open 1.20m and also won the Amateur Class on the Saturday!
Congratulations to all the Amateur riders on a great level of competition across the show.
