We were very saddened to hear this week of the sudden and unexpected passing of Glen Bolger.

Glen was a much loved and highly respected member of our jumping community, who along with his daughter Caitlin, run Riverwood Lodge in Serpentine Western Australia.

Glen was a very competitive showjumper and below we have a wonderful video of Glen and Kemoka at the 1982 Bond Derby Showjumping and a photo of the same combination winning the 1982 WA State Championships in Geraldton.

Glen was also a highly valued coach and trainer and along with daughter Caitlin, who has certainly followed in her father’s shoes, has been coaching riders for many years and produced a number of wonderful horses.

We send our deepest sympathy to Glen’s family and many friends at this incredibly difficult time and pay tribute to the horseman and gentleman that he was.
