World Cup Qualifying set to resume at Gatton Tomorrow

The second leg of the 2021 Australian World Cup Qualifying season will be contested tomorrow as part of the Pryde’s EasiFeed Gatton World Cup Show at Gatton Showground. With a total of 10 legs scheduled across 2021, competitors will be keen to get a jump on the rest of the field by banking points early in the season. Unfortunately, COVID-19 based state-border restrictions will mean that most of the Victorian contingent will not be present, however, with only the best five performances out of the 10 legs counting towards the season total, there will (hopefully) be plenty of opportunities for those so affected to achieve a competitive points total by the end of the season.
No doubt Graeme Watts will prepare a challenging but fair course for the competition to be held over two rounds.
Despite the absences, a strong field will assemble with the top six place getters from Leg 1, held at Werribee in March, making the trip to Queensland.
The current top 10 leader board going into tomorrow’s class is as follows.
Rank | RIDER | Points |
1 | Amber FULLER | 20 |
2 | Gabrielle CHUGG | 17 |
