ROUND 2 – WERRIBEE
Madeline Sinderberry made a strong statement in the second round of the Australian World Cup season, claiming the FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier at Werribee with Camie Z.
The class drew 26 combinations, with clear rounds hard to come by across the two-round format. Madeline and Camie Z delivered one of the standout performances of the day, jumping clear in the opening round before returning to produce another clean round in the second, finishing on a total of zero penalties.
Madeline also secured second place with GC Chicane, again finishing on zero penalties after two clear rounds. It was an impressive double result and gave her a dominant finish at the top of the leaderboard.
Sarah McMillan and Tyrone, winners of the opening World Cup qualifier at Shepparton the previous weekend, continued their strong early-season form to finish third. They jumped clear in the first round and added four faults in the second, ending on a total of four penalties.
Rhys Stones and Riverton Kanntador finished fourth, with Phillip Lever and Billionaire NZPH fifth, and Gabrielle Chugg and CF Edelweiss sixth. All three combinations completed the class on four faults.
The Werribee qualifier was an important second stop in the World Cup season, with valuable points on offer as riders continue to build momentum through the series. Madeline’s one-two finish places her firmly among the early combinations to watch as the season develops
