The Bob Chittick Memorial Perpetual Cup is awarded to the winning horse in Class 856 (Section 1 Round 1). In 2023, the award went to Daprice, ridden by Russell Johnstone.

Mr Bob Chittick came from a well-known South Coast family who were very prominent in the horse world. Bob was an excellent rider of both hacks and jumpers and at one time held the Australian High Jump Record. He looked after the Field Show Horses for many years and on his death the late TA Field and Mr RA Field presented the cup in his memory.

The trophy was first presented in 1957 and was originally awarded to the owner of the winning Showjumping Horse – puissance-jumping contest. It is now awarded to the winning horse in Class 856 (Jumping Contest Table A2, Article 238, 2.1). The trophy is a silver-plated twin handled lidded urn engraved with a horse and rider, raised on a heavy circular timber base.

In 2023, the cup was awarded to the McCann family, owners of Daprice, ridden by Russell Johnstone.
