The Australian World Cup Qualifying Series continues this afternoon at SIEC when the fifth leg of the series will be contested as part of the Waratah World Cup Show.

Currently the league pointscore table shows a tie at the top between Billy Raymont and Gemma Creighton, each on 47 points, with Clem Smith closely following in third on 45. Also tied in fourth place, just two points adrift are Phillip Lever and 2022 season winner Sam Overton. Mattea Davidson rounds out the current top six with 41 points. With Billy and Gemma not entered this afternoon any of the next four riders will have the opportunity to race ahead of the pack and establish a lead as the series reaches its half-way mark. Alternatively, there is also the opportunity for a number of riders further down the list to take the win and join the scrimmage at the top of the table.
