Australia’s top jumping talent heading to Boneo Park this November
This year, Boneo Park will not only host three days of top-class competition at the 2018 Boneo Park Cup, from Friday 2nd through to Sunday 4th November, but is also the new venue for one of our biggest national jumping competitions – the Pryde’s EasiFeed 2018 Australian Jumping Championships (Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th November).
Boneo Park, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, covers over 800 acres and is amongst the most respected and sought-after competition facilities in the equestrian industry. The Boneo Park Cup will attract riders and spectators from across Australia to what is traditionally the unofficial warm up to the Australian National Jumping Championships. Now in its fifth year, the Cup‘s feature class – the Boneo Park Cup Grand Prix, on Sunday 4th, will showcase some of the country’s best and up-and-coming riders. Along with the Young Rider Championship and Mini Prix, the Boneo Park Cup Grand Prix is a must see for spectators. The 2018 Boneo Park Cup will also this year also host the second leg of the Stall Tops Australian Young Rider Series which kicked off in May this year at Elysian Fields.

The pinnacle of Australian jumping, the Australian National Jumping Championships, has for the past six years been held at Werribee Park and has in that time developed into an impressive and greatly anticipated annual event. Earlier this year, expressions of interest were called for the three year contract and Boneo Park was successful in their bid. Boneo Park’s Director of Jumping, Scott McNaught said “Boneo Park looks forward to continuing to give the title of Australian Jumping Champion the recognition it deserves.”
Thanks to generous sponsorship of this event, there is $100,000 in total Prizemoney up for grabs at this year’s Championships. The Championships will determine Australia’s Junior, Young and Senior Champions for 2018 and also will also features classes such as Amateur, Future Stars and Mini Prix.
